Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, situated in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains area of South-East Queensland, is a caring church with everyday people who strive to follow Jesus Christ and spread His message of hope into our community.
What do Wesleyans believe
We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, suffered in our place on the cross, died and rose again, and now sits at the Father’s right hand until He returns to judge all people at the last day.
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
We believe that by the grace of God every person who repents of their sin and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour is justified by faith and has Eternal Life.
We believe that God not only counts believers as righteous, but that He makes them righteous, freeing them of sin’s dominion at conversion, purifying their hearts by faith and perfecting them in love with entire sanctification, and providing for their growth in grace at every stage of their spiritual life, enabling them through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life.

Our story
Glasshouse Community Church (now called Cornerstone Wesleyan Church) was originally planted in 1992 in the Glasshouse Mountains community by the Caboolture Wesleyan Methodist Church (now called New Hope Wesleyan Church).
Pastor David Collins was given the responsibility of molding the minds and spirits of the people of Glass House Mountains and from humble beginnings, the congregation grew. Meeting in a local parishioner’s house, the Church grew from strength to strength and eventually moved to the Glass House Mountains Community Hall in order to provide for the growing congregation.
By 2007, Pastor Brendan Edwards was charged with the duties of expanding the church and continuing to ‘Introduce Christ To Glasshouse’.
In 2009, Glasshouse Community Church had an opportunity to connect with the community further by moving the Church to the Glasshouse RSL.
Then by 2012, Glasshouse Community Church, swelling in numbers with a growing children’s program and a strong base of Christian believers, moved to Glasshouse Mountains State School – Main Hall.
From 2016, Reverend Kathy Eddie pastored the church until late 2018.
On 24th of March, 2019, we began meeting at the Glass House Mountains Community Hall (8 Coonowrin Road, Glass House Mountains) as the newly-named: Cornerstone Wesleyan Church.
